Techy Tuesday: Brush Up on Your Writing Skills

by Aubre on April 13, 2010

Now that you’ve started a blog (see the how-to here and here), you need to get writing. There’s a lot of blogs about blogging out there. Most of them are filled with useful information, but it seems silly to spend time reading about it instead of doing it. However, while there are a lot of techy things to consider, it has been argued many times that the most important part of your blog is the content.

Not only is content important to your readers, but it’s also important to the existence of your website. Websites don’t exist without words because search engine spiders don’t recognize images — they only pick up words. So I will still have a job even when print is dead! Hooray! That being said, it doesn’t hurt to brush up on your writing skills. For your readers and for the search engines.
